Do you have a 6.0 in your Ford? The 6.0 liter Power Stroke Diesel is the power-plant of many Ford Trucks. These trucks have a few pattern faults that may be plaguing you. Many of these issues are caused by improper maintenance or neglect. There are several aftermarket components and techniques that we use to make these engines powerful and reliable again. We will help you fall in love with your Ford again.
The Duramax or General Motors "Detroit Diesel" is one of my personal favorites. These engines have been used in multiple platforms and have proven to be one of the toughest most versatile platforms around. There are a few pattern faults on these engines, but not many. Some LB7 engines have had injector problems. We can guide you though and make repairs using updated materials and repair procedures.
The Cummins Diesel is also a popular platform. These engines were primarily installed in Dodge trucks. The inline 6 or I6 engine is a masterpiece of torque and horsepower. These engines have few problems and are some of the most aftermarket upgrades. A Dodge with a tuner can be a ton fun!
The 7.3L Power Stroke that lives under the hood of older Fords is probably the best engine ever made. We have seen lots of 7.3 engines that have well in excess of 500 thousand miles. Most of those engines have only had minor repairs done to them. These diesels have proven that they are tough enough for our extreme climate here in Tucson.
